[ QUOTE ] baba o'riley [/ QUOTE ] Television's Marquee Moon is awesome...nice avatar. [/ QUOTE ] I could have picked songs from that album,. but every single second of the album is so [censored] awesome that its just not right to differentiate. There was a thread a while back about best guitar solos, and I was the only one who mentioned Tom Verlaine's final solo on Marquee Moon. Very sad. |

Dom, No love for Sweet Child? [/ QUOTE ] FWIW, I've always liked the intro to Paradise City better, even though Sweet Child is clearly the better song overall. |
Re: best song intro
Korn - Blind or the live version of Hotel California. The first minute of both those songs are so good they lessen the rest. Some other notables:
Tool - Eulogy Disturbed - Down With The Sickness Rage Against The Machine - Bulls On Parade Smashing Pumpkins - Cherub Rock |
Re: best song intro
Enter Sandman - Metallica
End thread. |

Take Me out- Franz Ferdinand Straight into the lyrical intro, building toward one of the great rock riff's in history. [/ QUOTE ] I keep meaning to make myself an mp3 of just the intro, since I think the rest of the song isn't worth listening to. Excellent intro, though. ~D |
