The CPU usage can be deceptive, as it will be the CPU usage of Party itself which goes up slightly because the critical code is actually running inside of Party's mem space. Either way, the increase in CPU usage is very small compared to the method that FPHG 0.x used and also it has the added benefit of not missing the hands like FPHG 0.x could do occasionally.
