Quote: Any idea whether the major sites will still be accepting U.S. players in two weeks?
This is the $60,000 question. I don't know. And yes, deposits are substantially more legal today than they will be two weeks from now.
Ok guys and gals, thanks for your questions, and sorry it came to this. As a poker enthusiast, I hate to see this happen, but now that it has, everyone is best off taking a deep breath, stepping back for a few days, and seeing what transpires. The rush for immediate answers is one that will turn up a lot of false leads, false hope, and false conclusions. We learned as the bill moved through Congress that the people with the most definitive, appealing answers didn't always know what they were talking about, and we will see more of the same in the weeks ahead.
My advice: be patient, keep a level head, keep your options open, and do everything you can to ensure that your own personal interests are protected. Uncertainty is the name of the game right now, and people's reactions to uncertainty may be even more harmful to poker than the actual bill.
Good night & take care.
you are like the light in the tunnel man. you are one of few with a clear head right now, which is something to be admired at a time like this, TY SO MUCH!
