Playing is still in the same shape it was before the bill. Depending on who you ask playing is either illegal under the Wire Act or not illegal at all. The bill goes to great length not to change the status quo in this area. There appears to be little to no threat in this legislation to the individual poker player. The cardrooms, however, are looking at a monster problem.
You think this bill will seriously affect B&M casinos? Why?
I'm pretty sure he meant online "cardrooms." Obviously killing off internet poker will have an effect on live poker though.
