I honestly can't think of a better realistic action for Absolute Poker to take. I'm obviously not convinced that Abso is going to come clean, but in all my dealings with them, I've gotten the impression of a inept security department, not a nefarious one. I'll obviously wait for the results of the audit to be released, but theres no way you can see this as negative step.
