Default How much does Neteller make from poker sites?

Anyone have any idea what their % take is, either depositing, withdrawing or both?

Also, does it cost Neteller any money to do transfers to/from a bank account, when done electronically?

2% both ways.

EFTs probably cost a pittance, but I'm not sure exactly how small a pittance.

They have only been charging me a couple of percent when I make deposits to Neteller, not anything when I make a withdrawl.

I think the 2% comes from the merchant-to-merchant fees.

I actually think that it is 2.7% for merchants. I didn't find it on their site, but I calculated it from a picture they had up. I'd imagine for poker and sports books pay much less than that because of the volume of business they do with Neteller.

I talked with a couple of the sites management while in Vegas and they negotiate their rates w/ Neteller. Using Neteller was the optimal funding for them cost wise.

No doubt the highest $$$ volume (with low transaction reversals) merchants get the best rate, similar to credit card fees charged to merchants. May be under 1% for many, peer to peer transfers are only 1.9%......

In general Card Not Present transactions are higher risk and cost more than a transaction in a store.

But the bank to bank transfers are extremely cheap. ATM machines are the biggest billion dollar ripoff industry ever.
