And they've retracted thier story.

As of about 4:15 EST, they've retracted their retraction with a few extra ingredients.

The best view I can put together (my guesses based on reading the various articles and retraction and retracted retraction)

-Tribeca (and thereby Doyle's) has cut off new USA signups now.

-Tribeca (and thereby Doyle's) will stop USA play via IP block on 3/1/07.

-If Doyle's does not move to another network or set up their own poker client, they will be in the above state.

-Doyle's statements (including in the muddy article at G911) suggest that they might be able to be on their own or in another network soon. If not, then all the above stands.

Summary: Without a clear statement from Doyle's Room, we should assume we're right where we were with the news yesterday.

911 is now posting a confirmation on their site, with FTP retracting the previous retraction. They seem certain: no more US players on Doyle's Room.

I'm playing at Doyle's right now, and just got a pop up, like the one they use to announce tourneys starting, saying effective 2/28 they were closing to US players.

After a few hosts terminated the chat on me without any comments, here is a reply I got:

Lozingitall(17:42:20): I have a question on Doyle's Room accepting US players. What is your stance on this?
Host-Maggie (17:49:30): As a result of the Unlawful Internet Gaming Enforcement Act. (UIGEA) DBPN has reluctantly decided not to permit online real money play by USA- based Customers.
Lozingitall (17:50:03): When is this effective?
Host-Maggie (17:50:43): inmediately
Lozingitall (17:50:58): what do you mean by immediately? I can play on the site right now
Host-Maggie (17:51:27): yes you can still play
Host-Maggie (17:51:40): but you can't deposit anymore
Lozingitall (17:52:36): how about cashouts?
Host-Maggie (17:52:55): yes you can take your money out anytime you want to
Lozingitall (17:53:05): Is there a hold?
Host-Maggie (17:53:27): no, you will have an email very soon
Host-Maggie (17:53:32): with all the info you need
