David's former 16 yr old answers all
      #8822206 - 01/18/07 10:30 PM

OK everyone, it has been brought to my attention that some of you may have some questions for me. So as it stands now, I am making my knowledge of David, our relationship and his lifestyle an open book. Feel free to ask me anything that you would like to know. I will try to stay as on top of the answers as possible, thank you.
Saura

Hi Saura:

Just wanted you to know that Charmaine and I enjoyed your cooking at your 21st birthday party a few years ago. Are you 21 yet?

best wishes,
Mason

hey mason,
I really have grown to miss you guys, I'm glad you liked the pasta, I think we had salads and deserts as well, didn't we? Yes I am 21 now...kind of fooled you though. I'm really sorry about that.

jman,
did I ever see what?

Shadowrun,
That's really kind of hard to say. On a day to day basis we just lived. I usually cooked breakfast and lunch. We'd go out to dinner. We'd go see movies, oh and bowling. I loved to go bowling with him, he's quite good. I was horrible. Every now and then we'd go on some little shopping trips, sometimes big ones, but day to day life wasn't really extravagant.

Dean,
I didn't even know David was a multi-millionaire. I guess I likked him because he taught me things

oh yeah,
I had almost forgot about that. I pretty much just made a simple custard creme brulee and dashed brown sugar and lemon on top, sprinkled chambord on top and set it on fire.

First off, thanks for joining our community.

Did you run away from home to go to vegas and how did you end up at David's doorstep?

little luck,
actually, it's a rather odd story. I ran away due to some domestic violence in my household. I stayed with a friend for a while and came up with my little false identity. Saura Elizabeth Vencetti, which is FAR from my given name. I got onto numerous dating sites and phonelines and ran across David. I decided that I needed to leave the state, I was already in trouble as far as I was concerned, so I got a greyhound ticket (at the time you didn't need an I.D.) and when I got into Vegas I called David and said "surprise". It developed from there.

Were you really 16 when you met David?

How did his family react to you?

Did he ever use the word 'huggle' around you?

PS I'm glad I managed to get in early on what promises to be an epic thread.

shadow,
I informed him

diablo,
for what? the fact that I was abused as a child, or the fact that I ran away?

dino,
yes
They loved me, and I loved them in return. I still do, very nice people.
I have never heard huggle in my life

Shadow,
first of all that would be very rude of me, David is well above average, that is all you need to know.

I was with david for quite a while. After I left I went into retail management for a while, now I'm in school.

dino,
first of all, he had NO idea that I was underage, he "knew" I was 19, because that's what I lead him to believe.

shadow,
his father shall remain nameless in all of this, he was way past the time in my life where David was involved.

And yes I know his son quite well, one of my favorite people to get to know over my course of being in Vegas. Well, other than David.

ll,
first of all the age of consent is 16, so no. And second of all it is only illegal if your harbor criminal intent. David had no idea concerning my story that I had falsified anything.

oh, and my child is a blonde haired blue eyed german....so that is a no.

so you moved out of the United States?

no I believe it was because a few people had become rude and hurtful.

peter,
no....if anything I ummmm, how should I put this. Unleashed a beast, he was quite a gentle lover, and then I grew to be a bit of a wildchild.

honestly there are a few things I could tell you. He's a health freak, he works out everytime he leave's his house. He takes longer to get ready than I do, mainly because he's working on and off in the process. OH and my most favorite thing, he chews gum ALL THE TIME.

So you are a wildchild? What is the weirdest, craziest thing you have done then to consider yourself, as such?

I wasn't around for the original thread, but I heard it was taken off because he was embarrased about this coming to light. Are you sure you aren't a Streisand fanatic?

ll,
where do you get this [censored]? David didn't want his current girlfriend getting hurt or embarrassed by some of the nasty things that had been posted about here. And I listen to rock, I have never in my life listened to a streisand record.

and as for being a wildchild, I have 5 tattoos, 11 peircings (which there are going to be more very soon) And I'm a freak in the bedroom, s&m I'm also addicted to pain (hence the body modification)

In my opinion, it is very disrepectful to discuss someones personal life in the detail which you have, and will probably continue to, without their consent. From what I have read, it doesn't appear you do.

"I informed him"..? I'm sorry, that is weak.

No offense, but this screams "give me attention".

Saura -

How was it that you were 'found out' about the whole age thing?
Did your Mom track you down or something?

Also - supposedly even the officer recommended that David take you back in.
Did David not do this because he was too freaked by the age revelation and lack of honesty about that?

I didn't go back because the judge wouldn't allow it, nobody else thought it was a bad idea though. I can't really say that we;d still be together. I'm kind of glad everything went the way it did. I've grown as a person since then and if I had gone back I would have never gotten my son.

All,

For backstory info, here's a download link for the original Sklansky "stripper" thread which has been deleted. You don't have to use the paid download links, click on "free" and wait for your download ticket, blah blah blah.

"diablo,
for what? the fact that I was abused as a child, or the fact that I ran away?"

Because your life is like the textbook case of someone with major emotional problems stemming from childhood abuse.

- Why weren't you grossed out by old skin and flabby jowls like most girls your age?

- Why do you think girls, especially young girls, and especially young abused girls, offer their vaginas in return for safety/comfort? Are they are unaware of the options available to them? Are they lazy? Are they programmed to seek a man for protection? I'm genuinely curious.

- Didn't you feel strange being in the company of old adults (David, Mason, his wife, their friends) when you're still a child? Did you ever have moments where you thought "wow, this is a pretty weird situation. I don't belong here". How did they feel about it?

How many Piercings are above the equator and how many are below the equator ? Do you feel that the piercings will be an issue with Law Enforcement when you apply for a job as cop ? Do they ever set off the metal detector at the Airport ?

Statutory rape is a general intent crime. The intent element only requires that he intended to have sex. Whether or not he knew your age is irrelevant.

i refuse to believe david was unaware that she was not 19.

and claiming that 'i swear i didn't know' is a lot more creepy in my opinion than just going "yeah, i pretty much assumed she was likely younger, but she was mature, etc etc"

then again, bip ups to ya big DS on picking up those runaway kids!

2. What is your incentive for creating this thread? Attention? What can be gain by doing this?

3. Did it ever feel unusual to be having a sexual relationship with a guy in his 50's when you were 16?

Somewhere in the archives DS claimed he can determine someone's IQ bt merely conversing with him or her. Surely, he could also be able to determine someone's age in the same manner.

BTW folks, Vegas is a juice town. When you have money and/or know people, most laws don't matter

Hi SuaraV,

A few questions:

1) Does your real name rhyme with a female body part?

2) Do you and DS call "it" the "Big Blintz" (mine is the "Hebrew National"

3) Does he say Keegle or Kugle? (Keegle over here)

4) Does he prefer egg soup or potato soup on pesach? (Egg for me)

5) Were you a virgin when he, umm, went "All In"

Thank you for your response and welcome to the boards.

Do you recall what books David was working on while you lived there?

You know, after this many years it's kind of hard to remember the name. I believe it was a phone line however

I think one of the most enjoyable was my red tailed boa, Myra

the second would be my cat, Midnight

The trip to California was pretty cool...but that came later

My most memorable were these shoes, we had bowled 2 games and David told me that if I got more than 100 score he would buy me shoes...I believe the game went x x / x x 9/0
considering my highest game until that point was like a 70 that's not bad. Good motivational tools.

Other than that I would have to say that I love my tattoo

How does it feel to try to make a 21 year old feel bad about making a better life for herself and her son? Big man you are.

Kind of off the subject, but I'll answer it. First of all I would always go for the extra points, sure it's easier to kick for the feild goal posts, but why not push it through?

He was not planned, but at the same time, he has never and will never be regretted by any means. I was meant to be a mother. I enjoy it for the most part, sure there are times that are hard to handle, like staying up all night to fight a fever with his first flu.....or teething. Thats never any fun. I wouldn't change any of the choices I've made though

Try something relevant like,

How many Piercings are above the equator and how many are below the equator ? Do you feel that the piercings will be an issue with Law Enforcement when you apply for a job as cop ? Do they ever set off the metal detector at the Airport ?

All but one of my piercings are above the equator, and the one below is not where you would expect it to be. I will remove all of them before I start. And they have never set off a metal detector.

Statutory rape is a general intent crime. The intent element only requires that he intended to have sex. Whether or not he knew your age is irrelevant.

1. not any body part that I have ever heard of.
2. I never named it
3. neither
4. I'm really not sure on that one...I would think potato
5. no

How soon after you moved in with David till you start having sex with him?

While you were living there, did David have sex with other women?

Do you recall what books David was working on while you lived there?

Can I get your flaming custard recipe?

Thx.. BB

1. I'm really not sure you forget that that was a few years ago.
2. We did
3. He was finishing Tournament Poker for the Advanced Player
4. Let me write it all out and I will send it to your inbox

saura,

"making a better life for herself and her son"

Congratulations on moving forward with your life and good luck, but based on everything you've written here, I'm pretty sure the best thing you could do to accomplish that goal is receive a lot of professional counseling. Sounds like you went through a lot of bad stuff at an early age, and it takes a long time to really fix the effects of that.

1.) When was the last time David gave you money?

2.) Estimate if you will how much money he has given to you since you've known him.

3.) What do you do for a living? How do you support yourself and your child?

2. well cash would probably fall around 5,000. that is of course over a time frame of over 5 years. He has spent alot more than that on me however.
3. As of right now I am in restaurant management, very shortly I will be a police officer for that state of Arizona

In your new job, will you be trigger happy against the stereotypical abuser?

Like you may get a call to a DV situation and find a non-biological dad person wearing a wife-beater, drinking a wife-beater (that's a Budweiser) who beat his wife and is now sitting on the couch with his arm around say some 16ish girl and he has that lazy-eyed drooling half smirk smile...would you blow his face off?

saura,

"you know, everything that happened between us was left to my choosing."

That's almost certainly false. I know you think this to be true, but I'd put the chances at above 99% that it wasn't. This is why you need counseling. A physically, emotionally, and/or sexually abused young child who runs away from home at 16 and meets old men over phone chat lines while posing as a 19 year old and then goes and moves in with one of them, followed by getting pregnant with another man is not doing so with a well-developed ability to make intelligent choices when it comes to relationships and men. I once again repeat, you really, really should get some professional counseling to help address everything you've been through. This thread is very sad.

Glad to see that you're going into a field where your personal history can help kids who are going through what you had to endure. So long as you have your head on straight, that kind of connection can really help. I see Diablo just posted that your assertions that everything that happened between you and David was your choice are almost certainly mistaken. He's not being mean. That is the accepted view in child psychology. It's a case of the victim acting out the ideas plated by the original abuser. Ideas planted to break down resistance, make the abuse easier, and make the victim less likely to complain or report the abuse because then the victim will think they are responsible for what happened. The truth is that the responsibility is always the abuser's, always the adult's. Add to that, being abused stunts your emotional development, making you less of an adult than you would be had you not been abused. If some man had sex with your young son and then claimed that your child came on to him, I'm sure you'd be tempted to shoot his dick off. The choice is always the adult's.

I'm sure the in-service training you'll go through will help with the things in your past.

Let me take issue with El Diabolo here, saura. Unless you feel the need for counselling, there's an abundance of evidence that shows that in many cases, it can actually hurt more than it helps. Approximately twenty percent of people who have experienced severe trauma actually feel a need for counselling -- the other eighty percent move on without any need for it, either by processing the material on their own, through talking it through with friends, or because they didn't actually consider it traumatic in the first place.

If you feel that your life isn't working for you, or that past experiences are getting in the way, then it may be worth exploring. However, if you feel that your life is working just fine, then I'd suggest you don't mess with what isn't broken.

Hi, I have a few questions when you get back.

How soon after you moved in with David till you start having sex with him?

While you were living there, did David have sex with other women?

Do you recall what books David was working on while you lived there?

Can I get your flaming custard recipe?

Thx.. BB

Yes, here is what she sent me.

INGREDIENTS:

* 3 eggs slightly beaten
* 1/4 t salt
* 1/3 cp sugar
* 3 cp scalded milk
* 1/2 t vanilla
* nutmeg

DIRECTIONS Combine egg, sugar and salt. Add milk, vanilla, sprinkle nutmeg over top. Bake (350) 40 min in pan of water.

Then you'll mix one-quarter teaspoon lemon, 2 tablespoons brown sugar and spread over top...Then you cover with either chambord or sam buca depending on your taste, bring to table side and set it on fire. The fire will caramelize the brown sugar, and should leave the same basic presentation of creme brulee.

I would have to say Angeline Jolie in her younger years, around the time Hackers was filmed. Something wild about her.

not a big fan of islands, I don't like being that secluded

Choke and Invisible Monsters both by Chuck Palahunik

By the way, how many "16 yr olds" do you know that could cook this...from memory. In all the time that I lived with David I threw countless dinner parties and not once did I read a recipe. Ask Mason or Matty

Peter,
Your post is quite amusing and potentially dangerous. Do you really think that someone who was abused as a child, ran away from home, moved in with an older man while lying about her age, says she likes pain and has multiple piercings, has a child out of wedlock at age 20 etc..... is dealing well with things and does not need counseling? Not only is she not dealing with reality, but now she is bringing another person(her child) into her drama. People don't know how to process stuff on their own(her choices have shown this) and most friends don't know how to help either. And people who don't consider stuff like abuse traumatic are just in denial. She has nothing to lose and plenty to gain by talking to someone.

Put me down as agreeing with Peter. Ive read this entire thread, and she just doesn'tsound like someone that needs councelling. Psychiatrists are not a magic button that fix everything. Many people who have had bad childhoods get along just fine in later life without seeing one.

She was 16 when she ran away and moved in with DS. She sounds like she is now a lot older and wiser and getting on with her life. As Peter says, if it ain't broke, why fix it?

Then why do you avoid the tough questions by Diablo, myself and others if you are so happy and in control of your life?

I have not avoided any questions to my knowledge, Diablo, the [censored] that he is has not actually asked a question in his past few posts that I hadn't already answered.

Statutory rape is a strict liability crime so even though DS didn't have the mens rea to commit the crime does not make him innocent. Of course if the age of consent is 16, he is fine.....

Just want to clear up a post made earlier in the thread by OP that was mistaken.

Age of consent in Nevada is 16.

Regardless of what justification rhetoric you have spewed here, the fact remains that NOTHING good of this can come for David by this violation of his privacy.

If you really cared about him and think highly of him like you say, you would never have offered a "Q&A session" about your relationship with him.

You have, however, managed to alleviate our post-Brandi boredom. For that I thank you.

Gee Dan you must have missed the post about "Talking to dave about this before doing it" and I'm not sure I've seen anything other than the usual juvenile drivel thats usually posted about David in other forums. So whats your beef ? wanna be more specific about the damage to Davids rep ?

Put me down as agreeing with Peter. Ive read this entire thread, and she just doesn'tsound like someone that needs councelling. Psychiatrists are not a magic button that fix everything. Many people who have had bad childhoods get along just fine in later life without seeing one.

She was 16 when she ran away and moved in with DS. She sounds like she is now a lot older and wiser and getting on with her life. As Peter says, if it ain't broke, why fix it?

Obviously, Saura wasn't all that wise when she was 16.

However, the fact that despite making dangerous, horrible decisions and showing little to no judgment in her past actions, she seems not to regret it. That in itself really isn't healthy.

How can you not regret running away from home at 16, pretending to be 19 while chatting to old men, then entering an obviously destructive relationship with said old man? On top of that, you get knocked up by *another* man during that period, have his child and are essentially a single parent because of that.

You have to have some issues to be completely satisfied.

That said, psychological help isn't necessary. While Saura seems to be mentally imbalanced, it is not affecting her current lifestyle, at least based on what we know.

Actually it can be very healthy. If we make mistakes and 'get lucky' in so far as nothing really bad happens as a result, then these mistakes can be valuable learning tools. As the saying goes, 'that which does not kill us can only make us stronger'.

Let's say she hadn't run off to be with David. She probably would have met some other old man online, who may well have harmed her, either intentionally or not. It sounds like David treated her well with the exception of boring her with tales of gap theory. So she can be thankful that she made her mistake with David and not with somebody else.

Likewise I don't regret anyhing I have done in the past. Not because I have never done anything spupid, but because my life is good right now and this is partly because I learned from the mistakes I made. Had I made different decisions in the past, it may have gone off in a radically different direction.

Obviously you haven't been reading what Sklansky has been writing about himself in the Sklansky forum. He seems a bit of a degenerate and rather proud of it. Even if he did have to turn down a threesome with strippers because it turned out one of them wanted money for it...

In any case, he himself has said that he deserves congratulations for tapping Saura as a fifty year old man.

So I don't think this thread is doing Sklansky much harm at all, and he seems to have invited it. I think he wants his following to understand that he's not merely a math snob, he's also a playa.

I'm really not sure. Based on the fact that I would NEVER subject her to alot of the things I was subjected to as a child I don't think that I would really need to worry about it. If she was 18 and out of the home I couldn't really say anything either. Thank goodness I have a son. I have to worry about one penis in stead of thousands.

Hi Saura,

How many books did Mr. Sklansky have in his home when you stayed there and did you read any of them? Also, if you can recall the general subject(s) (diverse or specific) of any books then on hand that would be interesting to know.

Best of luck in your endeavors and I hope you find a path in life that is both fruitful and happy.

I hate all this "you can't do X, it's bad for you, and if you do, you need to feel bad and get counseling" [censored]. If Saura wanted to have a relationship with an older man and enjoys pain now, but is happy with her life, then why is it anyone else's concern to tell her what she "should" do. She's an adult, she can make her own choices.

Me, I like to get sloppy drunk occasionally, gamble like a degenerate, and occasionally indulge in illegal drugs. Some people would think I should get "counseling" for that, but guess what, I don't give a [censored]. I enjoy those activities and will continue them in the future when I feel like it.

Just because one thing is the accepted path, and something else is harmful in certain situations doesn't mean that said activity is always harmful. Saura obviously looks back fondly on her relations with David, so I don't see why other people should try to make her feel guilty about them.

Best of luck to you in the future Saura.

Since you're on the topic:

1. Used "there" (as in place) when she should have used "their" (belonging to them).

2. Looks are not "deceitful" (dishonest). Looks are "deceptive" (misleading), or even better, "deceiving" (cause to accept as true what is false). People are "deceitful". I know the dictionary would allow the usage, but educated people would never put it that way, and most would take that as a sign of lack of same.

3. If your I.Q. does not surpass your chronological age, you need to be in an institution. By definition, the average I.Q. is 100. Anything below 50 would mean you are severely disabled. I think she meant to say "chronological age" vs. "mental age" or just "your age is low but your I.Q. is high."

4. The word "individuals" means two or more individuals and "individual's" means belonging to an individual. She left out the apostrophe.

5. The phrase "I had both" should have been "Both were true." There are not two things listed that she had in her examples, instead two sets of circumstances were present.

6. "Their" was used correctly in the second sentence suggesting that the author is not in the habit of using them consistently but incorrectly, but rather, uses them interchangeably.

7. Finally, there should be a comma after the word "Also" in the second sentence. There should be a comma after "Unless" and between the words "course" and "an" in the first sentence. "Of course" is a prepositional phrase and should be set aside as such.

I already sent this to her in a PM, and she pointed out that she's a busy working single mom and hasn't been proofing or spell checking her posts. To be fair, some of the errors in punctuation could be attributed to that. However, even if it's not so bad a set of things, it's not the most convincing way to be defending your intelligence.

... but like she said, she has large breasts and a pretty smile.

Sorry. I got an I.Q. of 150. This comes easy to me.

... but then I don't have large breasts and my smile has never been called pretty.

Iggy,
Of course she can make her own choices. Its just that her track record of choices has been questionable to say the least. Having a child at such a young age without having her own life in order has made it even a harder hill to climb for her and her son. Based on her posts and past history of acting out, she lacks maturity and self awarness of her situation. Talking to someone would probably be a good idea, especially since there is a child involved.

I know it may not seem like it right now to some folks, but I much prefer sauraV to Brandirose. She sounds at least like she's really trying to improve her life. She kept her child and sounds like she's taking decent care of him and I think that is alway something to be admired. If this thread is all the drama she's got going on in her life right now, that's not too bad.

On the other hand, I've worked with abused children for a few years and I could not reccomend counseling strongly enough. Getting a firm grip on the past is the best tool to prevent it's being repeated.

That would put you in the top 2 percent or better.
Distribution of IQs

What was your favorite subject in school?

Also, I think it's fair to say that someone with an IQ in the 130's is pre-disposed to be intellectually curious. I realize that you have a child to raise so your career choices are probably influenced by that a great deal. If you had the opportunity, are there any subjects like history, science, literature that you would like to study in depth and if so which ones? A long winded way to ask you what are you intellectually curious about?
