Has anyone noticed patterns in the automatic shuffle boxes (specifically at Bay101)? 3 patterns I've noticed are this:
1) Full house flop lag. All within the same rotation, say you'll be dealt 10-2, the very next flop will be 10-10-2. And will happen about 4 or 5 times in a row.
2) Getting the same exact hand an extraordinary amount of times. In 30 minutes you'll get 10 7 about 10 times (or more), often in a row.
3) Similar to #2 - 2 premium hands at table back to back. I think this has to do with #2 but because they are premium hands you get to see them shown down. I get dealt the K K and play the hand out. The very next hand there's lots of action, I turn to my neighbor and whisper "I bet two black kings get shown down". And sure enough, that's what gets shown.
I'm a very NOT superstitious person. I tried for so long to think I was just imagining things when seeing these patterns. But they've happened to me just too much. I've never told anyone before and then the other day at the table some guy says to everyone "I keep having it where the flop now, would have given me a full house the hand before.". That lead me to believe some sort of pattern much more. But it also seems silly to me because every other hand is using a different deck, and it's impossible for the dealer to put the cards back the same every time.
Everyone has had fun. I am locking this thread now. -RR

Clearly.
You might want to give online poker a try. I don't think anyone has ever had these sorts of complaints there.

I agree with you completely. Every time I raise with A7o someone at my table always has a bigger Ace! Rigged.

crypto,
With your awesome pattern reading abilities, you shouldn't be wasting your time at poker. You could be getting rich right now recognizing the patterns in keno, where others see only randomness. I pity the poor casinos that you break with your pattern talent.

Can I just add that with 9 or 10 players at the table, how can the next flop give everyone a fullhouse from their previous hand?
If both 1 and 2 are true you shouldn't be complaining. You keep getting the same hand, and it keeps coming up on the next flop as a full house = $$$$$$$$$$$$$$
You gotta play the pattern. If you get the same hand back-to-back, bet the SHIZ-NIT out of it the 2nd time.

No one really answered this seriously. Last time I played at Borgata about two months ago, it was the first time I played with the shufflemaster. Me and my friend were just talking about how randome that really is compared to a thorough dealer shuffle. I know it's much faster but is there any data provided to how thorough the actual shuffle is? I've heard people tell me about a few tables they were at where the shufflemaster wasn't working properly and was getting stuck without really shuffling the cards well. The dealer had to keep calling a floor person over to try to tweek it. That would be very frustrating if you were playing in that game.

There used to be a shufflemaster that had a pattern of sorts(blackjack), but it doesn't exist anymore

Lately I have been plagued by 92o. It doesn't matter which table, what day or what time. This occured before shufflemaster also. Before 92o it was Qx. These are just the hands I happen to notice.
There are always patterns in a deal because there are finite cards, but I think there is less card patterning than in hand dealt deals. My vote goes to shufflemaster.
