Duration Watch Software
      #7439073 - 09/26/06 08:10 PM

This is kind of a cross post from the software forum, but I feel like the Heads Up forum people are way smarter, so I'm including it here too.

I spent the morning making a small program that keeps track of how many minutes/day you spend. I made this because I never could get PokerTracker to do it well and even if I could, I think this is simpler. I've been experimenting with multitabling the HUSNGs, and the durations provided by PokerStars just wont cut it anymore to determine how much per week I play or $/hr.

Basically, it counts the number of minutes/day that you spend playing a game on PokerStars. These include SNG, MTT, and cash games. The software sits in your system tray (the bar next to the Windows clock) as an icon until the user clicks it, then it shows the interface below.

Here's a pic:

I havent tested it that much, so I'd like some volunteers that would be interested in using it to try it out. You can scan it all you want for malware, there isnt any.

Even if you dont want to use it, I'll take any suggestions people would have. Its not my goal to make it an overly complicated program, but I'm more than willing to include features people want to see.

If you want to try it, respond with your email address and I'll send it over.

The multi-tabling software was scrapped for the time being. I realized while using it that I wound up paying way too much attention to the numbers and not enough attention on my opponent's proclivities. This made me play a crappy game, so I abandoned it.

I'm actually working on something new right now, the purpose of which is to make taking notes on your opponents easier, especially when multitabling the Heads Up games.

More on that later...
