Question: If Va. Tech had lost by 40 to a mediocre team like Florida State instead of a Top 5 team like LSU, would people be more likely to consider them for the MNC?

This has been an awesome regular season that will be followed by the crappiest bowl season ever. Basically everybody sucks this year. I think Hawaii should play just because they're the only undefeated team left. They beat everybody that lined up against them-- what more can you ask?

this is such a gongshow i don't even know what to say

i think it has to be LSU but i don't like it.

IF for some reason VaTech gets it and UGA ends up in the rose bowl, do we have a chance for one of the polls to go nuts and go against the BCS winner, putting the rose bowl winner #1 in the final poll? or is that not allowed anymore?

Any team that loses a game by 41 points should not have a chance to be national champ.

Seriously. You can't be the best team in college football if you lost by almost six touchdowns.

I don't think so. A loss to an unranked/mediocre team is okay, but getting blown out would be terrible.

And I think you could apply this argument to OU after the Texas Tech game. So USC/LSU.
