Facing overbet flop push with AA
      #13193927 - 11/30/07 09:43 PM

Villian is running at 45/11/4. He is playing many pots but playing them reasonably well. I think he falls under the category of average fish who might play very well on a particular day because of confidence, alcohol whatever. Haven't seen him before, so seems like a weekend warrior.

PokerStars No-Limit Hold'em, $4 BB (6 handed) Poker Stars Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: 2+2 Forums)

SB ($260.80)
BB ($524)
UTG ($574)
linuxrocks ($411.20)
CO ($430.40)
Button ($390)

Preflop: linuxrocks is MP with A, A.
1 fold, linuxrocks raises to $12, 2 folds, SB calls $10, BB calls $8.

Flop: ($36) 7, 3, 8 (3 players)
SB checks, BB bets $512 (All-In), linuxrocks ??

Before I opened the thread, I thought call. After reading the thread, I now think snap call.

Yeah I don't see how you can fold?
If he has us beat btw, I think it's more likley that it's with two pair then a set. So suck out if you have too.

Why do you guys think he overbet pushed? It was almost an insta-push, does that make it any different?

Who knows. TT maybe? Maybe T9, or slowplayed KK. Just call.

I'd call vs a fish and expect to be ahead well over 70% of the time.
