Cal's got a tough road to go, but it can work out...still have 4 road games and SC left

pac10 schedules are just brutal this year

oh yeah, hats off to call for playing Tennessee and @ colorado st. sure, La Tech at home is a gimme, but that is some classy scheduling on the whole.

Thing is, I won't even consider the possibility of more than the Rose Bowl until the Big Game is over and the table is run. That is a long long way off.

I'm thinking more like: Cal can still get to pasadena if it drops the USC game if Oregon beats them, right?

Yes sir. In fact, I will be rooting for it. Truth is, I'd rather play Cal than LSU in the Sugar Bowl, but its a lot more likely they run the tables.

I managed to watch this and bust out of a tournament in a coinflip pot for 5th place in a 4000 person tournament with 150 left. Lifetilt central. I am going to go smoke some marijuana.

the beauty of the PAC-10 is that even with one loss, a team usually controls its own destiny, and losing to a non-contender is far better than losing to a team who will beat you with the headsup tiebreaker.

still, the end of the game yesterday was "the anti-play"

Boy this should have been the year for Cal, assuming they could ground the ball, kick a field goal and win in overtime. I mean they'd be #1 right now and with a great shot at the BCS game (esp. the way USC is playing).

Oh well. Go Sun Devils!
