Holy [censored] so well said. One of the best things i've ever read on these forums.

It is what Nicklaus supposedly picked as his 18 favorite holes (I think of courses he's designed or built) and it is made to be driven in a cart. Regardless, hard to believe u can walk it and shoot -90 in an hour and a half and then do it 3 more times. It's 110 degrees here for godsakes.

Gavin said Lindgren took bets from all over the world and won the bets... However, what if the bets totalled a lot more than Smith's 100K and Lindgren gave Smith a piece of the action to 'attest'. Hard to believe you could walk that course and play in the heat (106*) and under 100 4 times in a day.

Let us now examine Gavin Smith and Eric Lindgren as potential partners. Eric stakes Gavin in tournaments. They both have appeared together over and over since the event with lots of Full Tilt logos everywhere. This was all started out for RawVegas TV, and one of their major investors is Eric Lindgen. Before and after the bet, Gavin Smith was working the varied media and web sites. Their celebrity and endorsements go up. If it walks like a duck and quacks like a duck, it is probably Gavin Smith.

But was Phil Ivey in on it? Was there a bet at all?

Hughes, I think you are wrong or an idiot...what's so hard to believe that they wagered money against each other? These guys love gambling, prop betting and they gamble hard against each other. Yes, they also all work for FTP and appreciate the value of publicity, but that's not a substantive argument for your point of view. Gavin told me he lost money and that they settled, and I believe him.

Johhny, if the jig was up they would plan it for more than only 340k. Stop hatin.

What E-dog did was very, very impressive!
