Gl all for December!

i find myself ending up like that too occasionally, usually when they call down and somehow hit a backdoor flush or something. but still i'd rather have them as my opponenet than a regular.

I'm not used to reading these things, just trying pokerev out for the first time.

Did I run as bad in November as it looks like I did???

looks like you ran good at start of the month, ran worse toward the end of the month, but still only a bit bad. green way down tends to mean you lose a lot in non showdown pots

Flop: ($8.25) 8, K, 4 (4 players)
BB bets $5, UTG folds, MP calls $5, Hero raises to $22, BB folds, MP calls $17.

Turn: ($57.25) 5 (2 players)
MP bets $5, Hero raises to $31, MP calls $26.

Ironic Moment for a Downswing

So we run pretty good for 10k hands at 10NL profiting 28 BI's without any significant downswings to speak of. We take a shot at 25NL when we reach a proper bankrolled amount. Now comes chapter 2...

First 315 hands at 25NL we find ourselves losing 5 BI's with virtually the same statistics (TAGish) as we found ourselves playing at 10NL. Had some bad beats combined with marginal spots which I couldn't decide which way to go.

Now I understand the quality of play is, supposedly, better at 25NL as compared to 10NL, but the irony in the downswing coming the second you move up in limits is a bit demotivating.

My stats for 10NL through 10k hands were 21/17 with a Total AF of 3.6

25NL through 315 hands was 17/16 Total AF of 4.5...I found myself getting played back at when I was raising too many hands, therefore I tightened up my pf hand selection a tad. AF will come down with a larger sample size I think.

After this run I'm forced to move back down to 10NL until I'm bankrolled for 25NL again.

When I try again should I take the same approach? Any thoughts, comments, similar experiences? Do I need to shift my game drastically for 25NL?

Worst seesion of my life. As well as losing every race, never behind, I think the worse was my pocket 10s lost to AJ and I'm still favorite, I felt like my cards were showing. Every c-bet raised, every value bet folds. In 600 hands I never once flopped a set. The board came runner runner THREE TIMES to put a flush on the board and a straight on the board when I flopped top 2 against calling stations. How is it these players with 60-5 stats can take so much money off me when I play 20/15 or so? Oh and I missed every draw. Absolutely card dead. One person did push preflop wtih 108 into my kings so that was nice..

down 3.5 buy ins. After having a come-back sesh yesterday over 2 buy ins...
