Re: I want your BB. Standard?

AF of 0.5 is pretty passive, even with this being a blind battle, the odds are high he's raising with a pair.

I think the flop call getting 7-1 is a slight loser. Call it three outs for the...

Heads up against TAG on tilt

I know this hand is below the usual small stakes limits, but I found it fairly interesting. I think I played it badly, but upon further reflection, I'm not sure what the best line is, given the...

Re: Live 2/4 Hand

I'd raise this with two or less limpers, or five or more limpers. Medium pairs like either lots of limpers, or very few.

Re: QQ - I Feel Like a Girlyman

Given that reads are unimportant:

I bet, and fold to a raise on the flop given an uncoordinated board. My line on the turn is also bet/fold, then take a free showdown or call one bet on the...

Re: Results and reasoning...

I think the important reason to bet the turn is that with a great possibility of being ahead, and a high possibility of having outs if you are behind, you want anyone drawing to the flush to pay for...

Re: Flop line check -- OOP w/ top two vs PFR and large field..

I think my line is bet, hope the LAG raises, then just call. Check raise a safe turn.

If you bet and the LAG just calls, the turn gets more interesting. Depending on how LAGy the LAG is, I...

With the potential flush draw showing on the flop, I prefer a check/raise. You can generally be pretty confident that the PFR is going to bet on a king high flop. However, I do often...

Re: 99 - monotone flop

I fail to see the reason for calling the turn if you are going to fold the river.

Re: AQs on the Button, Woot!

I think on showdown you loose to a pair here in excess of 70% of the time.

This is just plain spewing, not being clever.

Stuck in the middle of two

The two other players in this hand were obviously loose passive, but no specific reads. Over 20 hands they both saw about 60% of the flops, and had agression factors well below one (0.7 and 0.3). ...

RESULTS

MP1's play is strange to me. Why would he just call the turn when the flush hit, call the raise, and then bet out when the 2h comes? Slowplaying the nut straight?

I'm such a noob.

Re: baby flush facing action

[ QUOTE ]
I would have bet the flop and likely 3-bet the turn.

The play on the river would have been much easier.

If I were MP2 I would see no reason why my 98 or 67 was no good.

Why is the turn bet considered a donk bet?

its just the term you use to describe betting into the aggressor from the previous street.

river value bet at 1/2

Okay, this hand has been creating a certain amount of debate in the micro forum regarding the river bet, so I thought I'd kick it up here.

Re: folding for a bet on the river

Sample size on villain was pretty small: 65 hands. But I had seen him show down overcards once.

folding for a bet on the river

Villain is 56/3.5/0.3

I think the river fold is standard.

Two questions:

1. What do you think of the river value bet?

2. At what kind of villain stats do you think the river fold...
