View Full Version : "Official" Live at the Bike thread (1/10) (300-500 NL)

Tonight's show is the usual NL game, 5/5 blind NL with a $300 min, $500 max. Last night was the usual 8/16 limit game, which I missed most of due to computer problems, but there seemed to be enough comments about it, including some from earlier today regarding the commentators. To hear what things they'll say tonight, you can go to the usual place to watch.

This is a great format for a game. There is a lot more poker playing going on here than with those that money has no meaning.

There really isn't anything to get. It's basically pointless internet jabber meant to confuse or possibly cause a laugh or two to any unsuspecting readers. Plus I figured something as strange as that comment would have to be mentioned on the show which would end up quite awkward. God I'm a bastard.

Dave and Bart,
I enjoyed your Best of shows during the holidays. Lots of the shows featured the Infamous Jesus. My question is Where has he been? Has he gone broke cuz he was a really bad player.

BarronVangorToth
01-10-2006, 11:08 PM
Bart refers to me now as "someone in Internet land."

I think I'm going to cry.

BarronVangorToth
01-10-2006, 11:11 PM
The guy before just open-raised to $45 - Bart and Tuch, do you find this an over-open-raise..?

I know everyone plays differently, but...

Me, personally, in NL, I like always open-raising to 3xBB + SB -- so, in this format, wouldn't an open-raise to $20 ... even $25 ... be more normal?

Why bother with NINE times the BB?

Russ M.
01-10-2006, 11:12 PM
I think they should start referring to you as "Denny's #1 Fan".

I was busting on him like when they started and occasionally since but -- has he been on lately?

Or did they kick him off after that email came in that said "Eye Am Sofa King We Tart Ed" and he read it on the air?
