4 poker networks (Party, Stars, iPoker, Poker Room) and 2+2 forums go down simultaneously, what's going on here?

Was 2+2 down as well? I wasn't logged on. So it isn't just an "online poker sites" issue?

I lost my connections to bodog and Stars at the same time. Rest of 'the internet' was still fine for me. Based on nothing at all but a random guess I'm gonna suspect some sort of DDoS attack on poker sites.

Yea, my google.com/ig homepage was the only thing that opened for about 2 minutes. I didn't have to reset any of the poker sites though (stars/party). The hands would "stall" for like a minute then it was connected again.

It's probably more of an internet fart that hiccup.

It looks like Level3, one of the backbone providers is having major issues at the moment. Guess it's just a coincidence that it happened to hit lots of poker sites.

I just installed a new version of pokerstars. Hopefully it wasn't hacked into and then told all of its members to download the "New" version....

Somehow this is all Al Gore's fault. Him and his damn AlGorhythms.
