I know the concept of an "autofolder" is controversial, but I don't see the problem if I program it and don't disseminate it. However, I have limited programming expertise, but I am familiar with AHK and Excel macros. Where would I get started programming such a thing, or is this way too complicated of a project. PM me if you must.

Don't be a lazy ass. Just go buy an xbox360 controller for the PC, a copy of MTH, and program the "b" button to fold for you. Easy enough.

AHK wouldn't work very well. It's possible but terribly inefficient.

Despite others disagreements I've thought about doing this myself. After some research, it just isn't worth it in my opinion. Like someone else suggested, use a joystick, it's just about as quick.

I wouldn't be surprised if Party thought you were using a bot if you attempted to write an autofold app. It's so not worth the risk of having your BR seized.

I believe Stars explicitly forbids auto folders.

Strange though, that they would then sanction HUDs, which in my opinion violates the spirit of one player to a seat. Because the CPU is now doing calculations for you.

Personally, I think if they are going to allow HUDs, autofolders, whatever... they should have to provide them to all players. No one should be able to purchase a run time advantage.

At the very least they should be indicating on screen who is using such tools against me.

If I were in a casino I could see if someone was using a calculator at the table, true?

Bottom line, either everyone gets to use the tools without additional cost, or they are unfair, IMHO.

I suppose some will flame me and say, "Yeah, but reading a book is a purchased advantage." Yes it is. But, the key point there is that you still have to use your own mind to execute it. The book doesn't calculate for you. So the two are fundamentally different. Book = improve yourself. Softare tools = Offload some of the mental work to a CPU. A virtual second player in your seat.

Go show the VP$IP 75, PFR 40 player a typical PA Hud screenshot and he'll have no clue on what to do with those numbers. In fact, show most unlearned players a screenshot and they'll be clueless.

People need to learn what the numbers mean and how to apply them, just like they do after reading the latest book from 2+2.

Yes, it's an advantage, just like the books are. They show you the information, but it's up to you to learn how to properly use it.

Err, dunno about "spirit" but I'm not aware of any virtual room that has a restriction on # of players per hand. And its unlikely they ever will.

Not sure why you're resorting to personal attacks, but would you care to elaborate? I'm not sure what your point is. I don't want to get into a petty flame war, I truly am interested in others' opinions on this. Thanks.

Lee Jones has said in posts that Stars does not have a one-player-to-a-hand rule and that it would impossible to enforce.

And your attack was uncalled for. No idea why I'm even responding.
