Deposited $100, got the 300% bonus cleared, playing pontoon fine. Following the wiz chart EXACTLY. Flat $5 bets, single player. Up to about 475 with $2000 of the required $8000 wagered.

Fast forward to $4380 wagered, still have been following the chart exactly and have never varied from $5 flat bet.

I'm down to $190/400.

Is this normal? Should I be worried? Am I going to come out with $380 and get this bonus correctly?

Someone help, I'm very frustrated.

Pontoon is the craziest variance rollercoaster ever. Resist the urge to increase your bets to get back to where you were and you should be ok.

I saw the same crazy results flat betting $5, I was up several hundred at one point then at one point I was down to around $140 and figured I was going to bust but I ended up finishing with a $100 profit on top of the bonus.

When I got to around $1000 left of the WR, I wussed out and dropped down to $3 bets to finish it off.

I went from $660 to $375 back to $550 and finally ended up around $450 all within my last $1500 of wagering. And yes there is a chance of busting out the bonus but just hope for some good variance.

Pontoon has a very low house edge and a vary high varience.

On 8K the .55% house edge of BJ is only $44. But you got greedy and pontoon has sucked you dry.

Until your BR can handle it I suggest you stick to the lower varience games. BJ switch for example has a very low house edge and low varience.

BTW this can happen with any bonus. I just finished Bet365 at +224 and finished Interpoker -70.

I flat-bet $5 a hand at GP pontoon, lost all $400 flat betting 5 following the Wiz chart exactly, $7200/8000 WR. How the **** is this possible??? I thought these bonuses were easily clearable..someone help. I'm very frustrated.

yes, it's very possible, as you just saw. It is easily clearable. The more you bet, the easier it is to clear it. If you want lower variance, play blackjack instead of pontoon. Better yet, play PaiGow... that's got really low variance. No one will feel sorry for you if you lose $100 at a casino bonus. Just deposit for the next one and keep on playing

Really?

If you knew what variance was and understood it, then this stupid thread would not be here.

Have you ever had a 2outer hit againist you? What was your EV of the hand?

I love how people sheep along in casino whoring when they apparently have no idea what they are getting themselves into.
