I just accumulated 1K FPP points on PS, and have plans on saving it to eventually earn a free entry into the Sunday $215 tournament.

What do you do with your FPP points?

I played 3 1000FPP WSOP Main Event qualifiers last year, and took first on the third try. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

I bought TPFAP and HPFAP. I don't play at stars often.

Or better.

Enter other FPP tournaments. Win and get 5000 FPP's. Wash, Rinse, Recyle.

Order 2405FPW 10 days before they drop them from the store.

Become the envy of _all_ your friends....

I probably sound really stupid

but what other fpp tournaments?

I only see the satellites and the weekly 50fpp tournaments

the website (stars) is not very helpful

I think I just worked it out, you got to enter, then win, then unregister from the tourney that you won entry too.

correct????

simple!!!

exactly. The 1-table are easier to win from a time invested vs. payoff standpoint so I recommend using 1500 to enter those instead of 500 to enter 3 3 table. If you don't accrue 1500 points very quickly I guess you could try the 3 table sat's.

I'm not good enough to even bother with the $215 tournaments, I suppose if I ever got > t$1000 in 'stars I'd give it a shot... the $22 20 table tournaments are just soooo soft comparatively.

I bought a bunch of books recently for about 10K FPP (TPFAP, TOP, HPFAP, SSHE).. gonna save up the rest for a WSOP Prelim or something like that.

Just wanted to say thanks for the heads up..

They had no books I wanted (except maybe getting started in holdem)and I didn't want gear. Not enough points to buy useful stuff.

I entered my first 27 person 500fpp tournament (entry to the 200+15 tourney) with a view to using the rest of my points for 2 9 seat 1500fpp tourneys. I only had 3500 fpps

Well wouldn't you know it... I won the damn thing (did get lucky, but you do need some luck to win tournaments) and now I have 215 tournament dollars to turn into real dollars.

I have already turned 25 into 38 real dollars and don't know whether to play heads up tourneys, sit and goes or some of the larger tourneys. I am thinking a combination might be the way to go.

Are heads up tourneys a profitable way to release t$?

once again thanks for the heads up, easily the best use of fpp points by far (I am so biased)

One last thought (do you think people play looser because they are not real money?)
