When someone pointed out this recent discovery to Sharkey (ID's official spokesman on 2+2), this was his reply:

I never denied a fairy plausible narrative could be constructed. That’s enough for heathens, I suppose. The science that built the technological world around you was very careful about details and assumptions.

So, no, I doubt very much that this discovery of an *obvious* missing link will sway too many ID'ers.

If you don't feel like reading it, basically his point is that this finding isn't really anything new.

I can't see how there could be any fossil discovery that is accepted as transitional by a creationist. Since at every step along the evolutionary path the species is successfully adapted to it's environment, it can always be treated as ' as created'. ??

I suspect even DNA evidence with 'markers' would still be shrugged off.

The arguments in the article are as transparently bad as Sharkey's usual tripe.

Creationism is bunk. Mordern Humans have jaws too small to accomadate an extra tooth. These "wisdom" teeth cause pain and discomfort, as well as wreck havoc on the alignment ofthe rest ofyour teeth.

I only have two wisdom teeth. Obviously Im highly evolved.
