abs reloads going bye-bye?

Guess I'll stir the pot a little; anyone hear anything on this? reloads/rb are the only reason I put up w/their lousy software/low traffic foldfests - can't think of any reason I'd play there otherwise. Wonder what will become of them?

Right, I *still* get Absolute emails every few days & and every one of them mentions a new bonus code including this past weekend for April's Fools' day/weekend...

Has AP changed their structure for clearing bonuses.
Somebody mentioned that they have made it harder.

I'll rephrase - The bonuses are extremely difficult to clear playing $0.25/$0.50 NL. It takes about 12,000 hands to clear the initial $300 bonus. I can find much better bonuses to clear than that. Not worth my time.

I think they changed the rake requirement from .25 to .5, which makes the 1/2 whores play more hands.

Around the beginning of the year they changed it so you only get a 'bonus point' if the pot was $10+ as opposed to $5+.

The $3/$6 game at ABS is a mixed bag. There are certainly some lags, maniacs, and fish. Table selection is key. It's not like Party where there's always a good game going--sometimes you log on and all 7 or 8 tables are tagtastic. Other times, you'll find several tables with a couple of 40/5 or 60/30 players. As long as you don't just sit down at the first open table(s) and start playing, you should do well.

Prima $1/$2 full ring, OTOH, is a bonus-whoring rock garden.

It's odd I did not receive the email AND that they used the date as the deposit code. I usually get their weekly emails and the codes are usually not the same as the date.

On a sidenote: Absolute has blackjack now. I also no longer have an absolute bankroll. I just emailed them to ask if there is a significant redeposit bonus pending/coming soon (and why I can't get any ARPs for losing my AP roll at their damn blackjack tables). I will post back if they say anything that matters.
