No read on villian besides he is 46/16/.61 over about 150 hands

Party Poker 10.00/20.00 Hold'em (4 handed) link (http://www.darksun.lunarpages.com/poker/)

Preflop: Hero is BB with J/images/graemlins/spade.gif, J/images/graemlins/club.gif.
1 folds, Button raises, SB calls, Hero 3-bets, Button calls, SB calls.

Flop: (9.00 SB) Q/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 7/images/graemlins/diamond.gif, 2/images/graemlins/diamond.gif (3 players)
SB checks, Hero bets, Button raises, SB folds, Hero calls.

Whats my play for the rest of the hand?

I would 3-bet the flop, bet the turn, and fold to a raise.

EDIT: Mostly because the way you played it I have no idea what to do on the turn.

I never know what to do here because I'm never sure if the flop raise means anything besides a flush draw.

If this button likes semi bluffs, and see's you as weak, 3-bet.

really? in general here (ie readless) i dont like a 3-bet. you dont have top pair and there are 3 diamonds. not only do you not know if you have the best hand, but theres a good chance the turn will give him the best hand even if you currently have it. you are oop regardless. initiative does nothing and there is certainly not much value in the 3rd bet going in. what is your objective in 3-betting?

against this guy, this is especially true. he is passive. i would just call him down and c/f if a diamond fell

Because tough guys don't call (do Josh's thing, 3 bet when you have position).

I call down until a diamond or maybe an Ace hits and then fold. 3-betting is out of the question in my opinion.

If checked through on the turn, does anyone bet a rag river?

My default line here is to call the flop and lead a blank turn, folding to a raise. If just called I'd bet a blank river. If a diamond falls on turn or river, I probably c/fold. Not sure if that is the optimal line though.

what is a passive player checkraising this board with? His aggression factor is really low.
