30k hands at any limit in a month will do the trick. I had to mail them after a month and ask why the [censored] I wasn't upgraded after 55k hands... They promptly did so.

I seem to recall someone who played 1/2 full ring asking them how many hands he needed and they replied 25k of his current limit.

Are you positive that 30k hands at any limit will do the trick?
I'm currently at 25k hands spread out evenly between NL10$, NL25 0.5/1$ 6-max and 1/2$.

When I emailed, CS told me is 3000 regular party points.

Best to email vip@partypoker.com to find out for you.

In a single month, yes. Though that's just what I've heard on this forum and from cs staff. And it's been a few months, so it might have changed all over the place since.

Mail them and ask, you'll get an answer. (If it's correct I'll leave hanging...)

That is absolutely NOT true...

I've played over 30k in a month, and VIP told me to [censored] right off.

Said I need 4500 reg party points.

Even if a Party rep said 30k will do it for sure, that's not true. it might be true for certain cases... like 30k of 5/10 6max or something like that. but my 30k of NL$100 was not good enough for them...

When you guys say VIP member, are you referring to something other then the blue/silver/gold players club denominations? If so, please elaborate as to what these benefits are?

Here's the thing about Dikshit's rake farm - The rules change as the massa's overseers see fit. You rake slaves have to do as they say, then you MIGHT be "rewarded" with VIP status, only to be told to work even harder chasing ridiculous bonus targets. Success is its own punishiment.

No bonus offers in any form since January 1. Expiring Silver today and not crying a bit.

I'm not sure what the exact requirements are but I got in this month......i wonder if its because I asked. You definitely don't need 25K hands because I only played 14K in march according to PT. Here's the email they sent me when I inquired. I still am not sure what the benefits are to me. I only play cash limit games. The only thing they mention that I might be interested in is converting my points to $$. Does anyone know how much they offer per point?

I've played 40k hands this month on Party (20k NL50, 20k NL100) and they said I still need to play more in order to join the VIP program, retarded.

The Party point system is so imbalanced for NL players.

Yep. They have to avoid the horror of people playing rigged Party Point farming games in no limit. It could ruin Dikshit!

Guess they have changed to a purely point based system now. Please disregard my ancient tales.

That rep was full of it. I got VIP back when I played 25NL last year. 1k of monthly rake should do the trick. Although, I was lower than that the first month I got VIP.
