Does anyone know of a poker site where I can get a video ipod for a reasonable amount of play/rake generated? I have seen sites which offer nanos, but I am much more interested in a video Ipod.
Thanks

You can get one with party points....but not reasonably....

I'd suggest you play enough bonus's to buy um with money.

there's one obscure site called Party Poker that does them, but I dont' know if you'd define the amount of play reasonable.

Is there any particular reason you're opposed to clearing a $$ bonus and buying yourself one?

This is pretty stupid, but any time I consider buying an Ipod, I think I'd just rather keep the $300 or however much they cost, but if I got one through poker, it feels more like you are getting it for free. Basicly, I know I want one, but I won't be able to commit myself to get on unless I am not given the option of money as an alternative.

You could do some PSO offers and then use the points to purchase gift certificates and use them to buy a video ipod.

How unreasonable are we talking here? Say, how many hands of 3/6 or 5/10?

The 30GB video iPod on Party is 75,000 points. If it's only playing with no bonus points and on non-jackpot tables, then 125,000 raked hands.

Except that you can use bonus points in the store...So it's significantly less (hell, you could rack up that many points with very little play by depositing...however, they don't allow much abuse of this anymore).

I was trying to answer the question as straight-forward as I could, the problem is like you stated, bonus points play a HUGE factor.

I created a Party account at the end of Jan and I now have over 50,000 PartyPoints. I'd be willing to guess no more than 3,000 are from straight forward playing.

I have 68k points from mass depositing, but they held my last cashout, and are threatening to close my account if I continue this practice. So I've been making less deposits lately, and I don't play a huge amount. I am sure earning 7000 points would take longer than many bonuses out there would to earn an ipod, at least I'm probably a gold VIP member in a couple days, so that should help if all else fails.

I just like how I can have porn-on-the-go now. Technology rules. This is even better than "Go Gert".

This is exactly how I think 100% - which is why i'm super stoked about being only some 7k points away from the 30 GB video ipod

I have done at least 20k worth of mass depositing this month and they haven't said a word to me or help any of my cashouts.

I also have earned about 20k regular points though, which may help me.

Vertical poker on the Tribeca network gives away 4Gb nanos for 75k APs...not a great deal. Best bet is to just do a cash bonus or RB and use the $$ to buy one.
