Live games in Springfield Illinois

There are no live cash games hat I know about in my area. I am forced to either play stupid 10$-20$ SnG's (with messed up structures) or go out of my way an hour and a half to go to St. Louis. God is there a real game anywhere in my area? Please reply or PM with details if you know anywhere around the Springfield area.

Plus, for those who know the area. Why can't springfield open a card room or casino, but yet off-track betting parlors are OK?

I live in normal and I'm pretty sure the only place with a decent casino is st louis. However, I hear there are good private games in champaign/urbana.

Can't help with where the live games are. I moved from Normal to College Station, Texas three years ago. No casinos in Springfield because the gaming laws require casinos to be on riverboats in a river. I don't think the Sangamon is large enough to support a boat.

Hmmm a NL game with Kurosh and another 2'er. Sounds really soft /images/graemlins/smile.gif Think I'll stick to robbing the fishes on the tiger network for now.

Haha, I don't play in them very often, but it's a live 1-2 NL game. That should say it all regarding how tough it is. I also usually am playing to blow off steam so I play like an idiot.

I need to work on my NL game....a lot. It would be a slaughter to say the least....even blowing off steam.

I havent had a + session of NL cash...well....ever. I have tilt issues when it come to that game that I need to work on.
