Gut feeling is the the -3 is the right line. The -101 part is a huge bonus. I would be shocked if the -3 part gets better.

Yes, the Bears beat them 17-7 earlier this year, when Carolina was picked off twice and fumbled 3 times and allowed 8 sacks. Bears D is gonna need a similar peformance, although Smith had 170 yds receiving. Foster was shut down in this game, but last 5 games he has 485 yards rushing, clearly much better since his injury.

The Bears have been hot all season, but this reminds me of when they hosted the Eagles a few years ago at home as a 5-pt favorite, and lost by 14 in the playoffs, [with another injury-prone QB].

But, I like the Bear D and Grossman a little, so I'm gonna wait n see on the weather later in the week. Not sure how the Bears are such an easy call here. If Foster gets 80-100 yds, Panthers can win this one.
Bears gave up 101yds to Bettis and 140 to Moore and Bennett in the past month.

Bears -3? Coming off a bye, with a defense that has great linebackers? (read: no 200 rushing yds, no 100+ yd game for Foster)

Steve Smith also finds himself double-covered on every play, so Carolina's offense scores less than 14 points.

I am impressed with Carolina's defense however. They shut down Barber, mauled Eli, and just shut down probably the second best offense in the NFC. I don't know if Grossman and Thomas Jones can do enough if Carolina is healthy on D...

-3 is pretty tempting in a divisional playoff though.

I am. I placed a small bet on Chicago to win by exactly 1-2 at +1920 risked .10 risked. Then sold off half on 3 when it looked like it was gonna move and then bought it back at 2.5.
I'm paying some extra juice by betting early but had it at -101 so its only a little extra.
1.5 Units on Chicago -3 -101
.75 Units on Carolina +3 -108
.75 Units on Chicago -2.5 -110
.10 Units on Chicago to win by exactly 1-2 pts at +1920 (This was another after though).
If I could Cancel all the Bets I had I would of just took the Chicago ML. It was at -135 at one point not sure where it is at now.

Well, lost 2 units on Indy, so NFL YTD +4.5 units, 6-2 playoffs, +6.8 units.
Won 3.3 units on CAR, ml and O30, bringing results to +7.8 units YTD on NFL, 8-2 in playoff bets, +10.1 units.

Also have 1 unit on Denver at 10-1 to win AFC and 0.5 unit on CAR at 25-1 to win SB remaining. Likely will bet one unit on Pitt at 1.66-1 to hedge there.
