BTW, it is perfectly acceptable to be at Cafe du Monde right now eating beignets and attempting to plan where the next round of drinking will take place without actually being able to form any coherent thoughts.

I raise Ts9d in the SB playing 300/600 on UltimateBet, Idahopotato calls the bb.

The flop is Qs 9c 4c. I bet, he calls

Turn is the Qd. I bet, he calls.

River is the 6h. I check, he bets, I raise and he calls. MHIG, never checked what he had.

J_V is sweating me, unbeknownst to me, and out of nowhere IMs me and said "my jaw just dropped."

Yes. Definitely suited and probably (80%) unsuited.

[/ QUOTE ]

so your at a 20/40 table that has one player who would open limp 86o and another player(co) who called multiple raises on every street with nine hi and no draw. Teach me table selection.

[/ QUOTE ]

I don't even bother to table select at 20/40. Things just work out that way. Frequently. Keep in mind that the player with 98s had a gutter on the flop and a doublegutter on the turn, and a PAIR! on the river.

Absolute 3/6 5 handed, last night, probably against a couple 2+2er's

UTG limps, I get JJ and raise, dude 3bets, and then utg limp/caps, we both call.

Flop: JT4 rainbow - and I am smiling to myself
capped all around

Turn: 3 completing the rainbow
capped all around

River: 3 giving me the full boat
this time utg bets, I raise and they both slow down and call.

I flip over my boat, and they muck exactly what I thought they would, AA for UTG, and KK for other dude.

I win a $180 pot, which is big for me. /images/graemlins/grin.gif

edit: can anyone get my hand history for Absolute to work, I copied it from the 'previous hand' history, not the hh that they send you (this maybe why). The pf action is wrong, but the rest converts.
