I admit, I was bored one day and deposited some money on a bingo site. They gave me some free cards and bonus money, so I said what the heck. But I was actually wondering, how -EV is bingo compared to other games(BJ, VP, etc). I play it because it is kind of fun, and the payoff is like 100x your investment if you hit bingo. Anyone have any info on this?

The actual EV changes depending on the site, number of cards in play, the alignment of the moon and planets, and several other as yet undefined factors. Suffice it to say it's horrible.

Anybody who goes to Foxwoods should check out the bingo room there. It's bigger some of the smaller casinos on the Strip.

Bingo doesn't seem popular in Vegas. I don't think any of the big Strip casinos have it.

Bingo has a + EV if you play the Brooklyn method. What this means is that if you are one square away from a win, you must slowly rise from your seat and stand at the table, leaning over your cards and supporting yourself with your arms on the table. This will ensure a win.

I tried clearing a bingo bonus.

The return was 60%. (Other sites may return more.) The bonus was microscopically +EV as implemented, but only because they didn't implement their own rules carefully. Those would have made clearing the bonus -EV.

Now I can't stop receiving bingo spam, and the awful pink images are seared into my brain.
