So heres the story, I started playing online poker about 6 months ago seriously. I recently learned about Poker Office. Instead of buying the software I decided I would register a account at Empire and play 200 raked hands to get the software for free for a bonus. In an online poker novice mistake I used a friends Firepay to deposit the initial $50 into my Empire account to coinside with the bonus stipulations. Empire froze my account because you cannot use someone else's account to deposit money(my novice mistake).

I was wondering if maybe anyone else had any tips on how to get Poker Office. Do I pay the $80 to buy it?(please say no) Do I open an account on another site that has the bonus with my tiny bankroll? Is there any way people have a registration code that I can use instead of going threw all this?

also another question is has anyone else got their account frozen and what happens? I called the number and they had me email my drivers license which I just did. Since joining Empire I had already doubled the 50 and built up about 125 raked hands. Will I lose all that? what happens?....

I could really use any help at this point.

Do the PokerOffice Noble Poker deal instead. I just did it last week, wasn't too bad.

I don't think this situation warrants the title 'serious' help/advice.

This might be the least serious thing I've read about today.

in the sense that he said he had a tiny bankroll, and this probably represents a very big part of it, i guess what is serious to him and serious to you might be two very different things.

but im sure he values your comments.

to op, wait and see what empire does.

my guess is that if you send them what they requested, and tell them that you made an honest mistake due to ignorance, your account will be "unlocked" with no repercussions.

then you should be able to complete your pokeroffice promo there.

Boogiemang,

I am very glad to see that you have already realised that you absolutely do need a product such as PO (or PT) to support your online poker play.

Too many people struggle for months as a barely break-even player, before the penny drops.

If used properly, either PO or PT will add at least 1BB/100 to your win rate.

Bottom line is that, even if you end up actually "paying" for either PO or PT, it will have paid for itself in a matter of weeks.
