I bought Poker Academy because it was suppose to have the best poker AI. I didn't go Pro, I got Poker Academy Texas Hold'em.

I bought both, Turbo Texas hold'em AND Poker Academy 2.0 (not the pro version). I like them both. TTH seams to be just a little rougher in their interface and the ability to use their analysis side.

Here is the way I think they stack up:

Poker Academy 2.0
=nice interface
=Access to Poker Academy Online (great fun)
=Great analysis tools
=Hand evaluator and statistics are great
=Price is great. I got it for $19 at Circuit City
=Downside: you can only install it two computers and you have to register it online for authentication, a REAL DOWNER....

Turbo Texas Hold'em
=Play is lots of fun
=Advisor AI is really good
=You can install on more than two computers with no online authentication
=Powerful analysis an simulation but DIFFICULT to use and understand
=Downside: it costs $85 and can only be ordered online

If I could only have one, I would buy the Poker Academy 2.0 for $19 at Circuit City

Enjoy,
