ive recently read a few articles on bankroll, win rate, standard deviation, and kelly criterion. I dont understand how all of these concepts work harmoniously together. I recently read how chris ferguson turned 1 dollar into 20,000 dollars. by always using just 5 percent of his bankroll at one time, and whenever he doubled to 10% he would leave the table and sit at another with 5% again. was he using kelly criterion?
