I'm going to be in Oklahoma City on Monday and Tuesday and I'm wondering which casino to go to. The two casinos i'm considering are Lucky Star and the Newcastle casino. I definitely want to play NL but would also like to get in some 10/20 limit if possible...does either casino spread limit higher than 4/8? Also...which one generally has the worse NL players?

The Bridge Club on main in Norman. Very soft games, mostly elderly seniors trying to suplement income on penny Bridge games. See ya there.

The best cardroom is at Thunderbird casino in Norman.

The rake is only $3 while every other card rom in the state rakes 4.

They also have a lot of bonuses, like on fridays after 9 aces cracked pays you $200. They also have royal flush jackpots and the main bad beat jackpot is easier to hit than most. Aces full of J's or better beat.

Hey, have they ever started playing tournaments there? I live in Norman.

Yeah, they hold tourney's a few times during the week. Mon, Tues(Ladies Only), Thurs and Sun, I think. Buy in is $30 ($20+10) plus a one time optional $20 rebuy.

I also am interested about these two card rooms. I have been to Firelake near OKC and its really not worth it unless you like NL, they had 1 3/6 game going that broke rather early. I have also been to creek nation and cherokee in tulsa which are both decent rooms altho they have very high rake. Do either of the other rooms in the OKC area have a 10/20 or higher game that goes most of the time? Any help on where i could find a decently big limit game in oklahoma 10/20 and up would be apreciated.

I have seen 20/40 go one time at winstar. It was a saturday night during the summer months.

10/20 goes about 90% of the time and 15/30 goes about 20% of the time when I'm at Winstar.

Thunderbird the best?$^&$$# is this a joke or are you high??? It may be better than firelake but that's it. If you want a card room that's well staffed you can't go wrong with Newcastle or Luckystar. All of the good dealers / floorman Thunderbird had went to Newcastle when they opened. The place is a joke.
