View Full Version : Reliably soft 10-20 game in Vegas?

This is somewhat of a silly question, of course, since game profitability is so variable dependent, but...

Are there any reliably juicy 8-16 or 10-20 LHE games that people know of in Vegas? Casinos have very different reps for tightness of play (Mirage is considered vastly tighter/better than Excalibur, etc.), so I was wondering what you regular Vegas folks thought the juiciest games in town were -- the places you go first for these limits.

I normally play stud when I'm in Vegas, but I thought I might try a little live LHE this time out. Any advice you nice people had would be appreciated. Thanks in advance.

If you're going to play 8-16, play it at Wynn. They use $2 chips and the games typically have a lot of action. As for 10-20, the Mirage is really it on the strip...if you can swing it, I'd take an $800 shot at Bellagio 15-30 if you're running hot. That game is good 24-7 in my experience.

Caesar's new room is spreading this limit regularly too, aren't they? I've only played there once, but the 10/20 was going. It was nice and soft with 5 or 6 seeing every flop.

I play $8/16 once in awhile, and I find the $8/16 games at Wynn to be consistently softer than comparable limits elsewhere. Not to mention Wynn's poker room is fabulous.

Mirage 10/20 is a donkfest. Fish away.

8/16 at both Wynn and Bellagio - soft as hell. Only go to the Bellagio if you don't mind putting up with crummy floor managers.

The Mirage 10/20 is full of retards as far as I can tell. Sadly many of them are also a huge pain in the ass.
