i will play 1/2 full ring at Absolute. how any hand approx will it take to clear the bonus?

for every raked pot above 2.5BB's u get 0.10 dollar from ur bonus account to ur real account, right?. Well some of the pots will be less then 2.5BB. say 10% of the raked pots will be less than 2.5BB. So for them i will no get .10 dollar. then it is equal to say that i will get .09 dollar for each raked pot.

So total rake hand i need to play is 30000/9 = 3333 raked hands or 10k usual hands.

is that approximately correct?

thanks.

hand needs to be raked 50c ($10+ pot) to count towards the bonus, which is 5BB's at $1/2 LHE. I'd say a little less than half of dealt hands will get raked under those circumstances (also note that a flop percentage of 30% on Absolute is considered "good").

it's still a worthwhile bonus mathematically at $1/2 but I don't think anyone has much fun grinding it out on that site. if you can swing it, try playing $3/6 or $2/4 stud/omaha (when available).

They clear in $10 increments. You dont get credit for a raked hand until the pot reaches $10 (even though they are raking at $5). $300 in bonus money = 3,000 raked, which at 1/2 full at Absolute will take about 1,000,000 hands.

For each raked hand (minimum rake of $0.50) you play you will receive 1 point, and you will receive 1 point for each $1 of tournament buy-in fee. At 100 points $10 will be transferred from your Pending Bonus account to your cash account. Money in your pending account will expire 60 days from the time it was awarded unless it has been transferred to your real money account by meeting the hands played requirements. You can view your point total and bonus amounts at the Cashier. You will continue to earn points until you have received 100% of your bonus money.

what about 2/4 full ring then? and what if i see flop for 1 sb and then fold to a flop bet. however the otehrs proceed and the pot becomes over 5 bb and gets raked. Does it count towards my requirments?

thanks

just to clarify, it's dealt raked, not contributed. unless you like eating glass, i would not recommend playing for this bonus at 1/2 and 2/4 FR - i found playing at those tables excruciatingly boring and unprofitable. however, my experience clearing bonus at 1/2 6max has been exactly the opposite.

2/4 full ring would be fine to clear the bonus if you could find a game. There are very few, if any, 2/4 full games going there most nights.
