I understand that there is a classified ads section where Companies/Sponsors pay to have ad space. What I am suggesting is a forum for people to post about items they might want to trade/sell. Almost like a Craig's List for this forum without posts about rakeback deals etc.

Would this be possible or would spammers take over?

This site thrives on ad revenue. If we made a space where people could advertise for free, I'd hate to see the source of income for this place diminish. Also, it'd become obnoxious with spam faster than you can say, "Moderator!"

I guess its not practical for the nature of this website. Too many spammers as it is. A non-poker related trading post would be cool, but hey this is a poker website anyways.
