After reading the discussion here on Golden Palace Casino's 300 buck bonus for 100 with its +400 EV/ -100 I gave it a go. 12 BJ hands- I won 2, pushed one and lost 9. That's it for that 100. At least I could afford it though...anyway, poker's all the gamble I'm interested in.

In order for sticky bonuses to really prove profitable, you usually need to do several of them. Otherwise, it's going to take some luck. I too busted out on Golden Palace but I've made several thousand on other stickies.

sounds like you may have been betting a little high if you dropped $100 in 12 hands.

It was a sticky bonus. He should have started by betting $100/hand.

Actually closer to 50 right? I always forget the exact math on these things, but you don't want to hit your target way before your wr.

Golden Palace has the best sticky out there since you get such a big bonus to play with ($300) and a low WR (4x deposit+bonus). Grand Online is good also ($200 bonus, 4x D+B), as are Tropez, Europa, Casino King, Vegas Red and Club Dice (though no BJ there). Go to casinobonuspages.com and you can sort their casino listings by bonus type to find the one(s) you want. I did Giant Vegas last night, deposited $200 and cashed out over $1,500. For a lot of the casinos listed above, you can also get credit for signing up at one of the referral sites to get free stuff (iPods, Xbox's, PSP's, cash, etc), so check those out before you sign up with the sites directly.

going to have to look into those referral sites.
I have the money to do a few stickies and really want to try out Golden Palace.
Going to have to find the best strategy and hit that up tonight if possible /images/graemlins/smile.gif

Sticky bonuses are only to gamble with, and you cant withdraw them (they'll subtract $300 from your balance when you cashout). You should bet big bets, and try to hit a homerun with these, as opposed to cashable bonuses where you make small bets and try to maintain as much of the bonus as you can. I would suggest $50 bets (you'll have $400 in your account with the bonus), or $25 bets and play progressively (for each hand you win in a row, add another $25 to your bet, when you lose/push, drop back down to $25 and start over). My preference is the progressive strategy of these two. A few wins in a row and you have some decent wins. The WR on this one is pretty low ($1,600) for bets that size so you should be able to clear it quickly if you run well.

Another strategy, which I dont like, is to make a really big bet off the bat ($200 or $400). If you win, you double up and can bet small the rest of the way to clear the WR. If you lose, oh well. You increase the HA if you bet $400 since you cant split or double. $200 is better, but I still prefer to play the progressive style.

Good luck.

Thnx for your insight thus far. Can you point me in the direction of some of the referral sites that give these extra incentives?
