We have discussed this before on this forum- this just popped up in Yahoo's headlines.

“This study addresses the question 'Are humans still evolving?', and the answer is 'Absolutely,'" study team member Benjamin Voight told LiveScience.

Of course we are. Does anyone seriously believe otherwise?

Yes, apparently. (http://forumserver.twoplustwo.com/showflat.php?Cat=0&Number=4739424&an=0&page=13#Pos t4739424) But maybe not anymore.

Rent the documentary called X-Men & X-Men 2. It clearly shows human evolution.

The truth of the matter becomes more apparent with every non-proof of the type cited. The “scientists” who proclaim, over and over again, “proofs” of evolution only make it more conspicuous that that have no actual definitive evidence of one species developing into another in a manner that can be extrapolated to account for the present diversity of species.

Note that I don’t mean adaptation within the genome of a single species. You can SAY this process need only be extended to create speciation, but nowhere is there PROOF of such a thing.

Yet the gullible continue to believe.

That’s about the level of critical thinking being used by the “scientific” faithful.

Scores of people thought Gilligan's Island was real and called the Coast Guard.

Are you trying to draw a parallel between "belief" in evolution and "belief" in the supernatural? That seems to be the only sensible thing you could be getting at with your persistent denial of the validity of the theory of natural selection.

The parallel is obvious, but it’s a side issue.

I'd love to see a statistic showing how many of those people were church-going Christians versus atheist scientists.

The atheistic “scientists” couldn’t help. They’re trapped on fictitious little islands of their own.

It’s a long shot, but maybe someday you’ll get past the notoriously limp noodle known as the ad hominem attack.

Oh Sharkey, much as I agree with your fundamentalist stance against the evolution of species, when I read your posts it feels as though someone is running expanded polystyrene packing blocks accross a blackboard along with their nails.

Based on his posts, I'd say there's plenty of room still to sound smarter.
