There's less than .1% chance I have a Trojan on my computer. I'm not overly concerned, but I would like to scan my computer some how. I do not doubt that there are Trojans designed to let others see hole cards. (I'm prepared for the flaming) I feel it is a very, very small chance of having a Trojan on your computer, but better safe than sorry. I have a McAfee fire wall and a Lavasoft fire wall. I also run Ad Aware Spy bot periodically. But I do surf the net while playing and you never know. I saw someone mention they re-format their computer every month? Is this prudent? How difficult is this? Any recommendations on how to detect and remove a Trojan that got through a firewall and avoided detection of Spyware?

Use a good antivirus program. I use NOD32 (http://www.eset.com/home/home.htm) these days and haven't had a single problem in a very long time.

I use the AVG Antivirus free version and it seems pretty effective. I also just purchased Spy Sweeper a few weeks ago and it has also worked out well.

You can find reviews of much of the antivirus and spyware defense software that's out there on www.zdnet.com. (http://www.zdnet.com.) You can also download free trials of most of the programs, and ZDNet is very clean and reputable.
