Villain (56/11 over 9 hands) lost a large pot hand just previous. He snap called the flop. He might be steaming-I'm torn here. Could have called with a 3 from the SB, but is unlikely from pf action.

Baluga says fold. Is there some reason you seek to ignore the famous whale?

Edit: Well if you think he's steaming and would do this with a flush draw I suppose it might be a call, but I don't like where this pot size is going holding T9. I still fold.

I would probably check the turn because I don't see anything worse that villain calls with. Then call river because he might be bluffing or value betting an 8. Villain is clearly terrible so maybe he calls the whole way with an 8 but it is definitely a thin value bet on the turn.

As played, I would fold. Looks like a slowplayed 3 to me. Maybe 89 or an overpair.

fold pf

I generally dont bluff these donk stations as much on the flop (altho I'd cbet AK moreso for value/protect hand)

As played with him snap calling .. I probably bet/check about 2/1. I'm not super happy about building a large pot (if I bet it's $5) but we usually have the best hand. Not sure how much we can read off the timing tell.

As played I'd like to know if he goes to showdown a ton ... if he calls cbets a ton. If so, most likely to call and call river. If he's passive / tighter postflop then fold

(also considering min 3 bet turn and planning on not putting any more chips in the pot)

pf is ok, but i would be inclined to fold it if he's just lost a big pot because you prob have no fold equity pre and may not have much post (and you really need it with this hand).

flop fine, turn just gotta fold. great that you hit your card and now you aren't bluffing any more, but he just narrowed his range very helpfully and you can't call a river bet unless an 9 or possibly a ten comes so just get out of the way.
