What's his AF? Have you seen him make this sort of move with a draw before?

I think it's a fold. I cannot think of a hand you beat, unless you have a read he is really dumb throw it away.

AQ OOP is a loser in a 3 bet pot if the dude has a normal/slightly aggro 3 bet range... 1010-AA AK, even with him having AQ tossed in you have 50% equity, but the problem is it becomes a win a little lose alot situation. If an ace flops and he has an underpair, you arent getting much, Ace flops and your dominated, there goes alot. Q flops and you can be against an overpair. It just doesn't play that well.

Has BB 3bet a ton?...is he 3betting you light? If you have no reason to believe he's 3betting you light then there's no reason to call with AQ. This is kinda close especially since it's suited but I'd automuck AJ so fast and I'm folding AQ here.

With some sort of read and with history about his 3betting range and stuff I could play it differently.

his AF was very low on all streets. Total .51

He hadn't been 3 betting me at all.

I actually called in the heat of the moment and he showed down AA.

It's hands just like this that are causing me trouble.

I'd seen some really terrible plays that morning, and I guess it was all going to my head, because when I look at the hand now, it's such an obvious fold.

Interesting thoughts on folding preflop. More often than not, these light 3 bets are the nut hands.

Thanks for replies
