Villain hadnt played many hands but was clearly awful. On the turn, i figured he was on some kind of draw and that I should get it in.

I b/f the turn. So much easier and less expensive. This guy isn't raising a draw here and you can c/c the river if it blanks to pick up a bluff if you're really convinced you're ahead.

On the turn, b/f &gt;&gt;&gt;&gt; c/c &gt; c/r. Your line pretty much turns your hand into a bluff, and also gives him the opportunity to check behind if he's drawing and see a free river. Just lead turn.

I always raise the supid looking bets. It's probably a leak but I can't resist. They usually mean "I have something very weak, let me go to showdown".
