This has to be a regular style laydown, right? Baluga? Probably 2pair?

Yea I probably fold this.

I believe I also would have check/called the turn and then led the river.

Eh this is tough. You basically hit what you were looking for. It really depends on villains stats but I'll make this call ANYDAY against a looser opponent since I've seen people call flops such as that one with Ace high. It's possible he hit his ace as well.

you can check call turn, since flop was dry. if opponent has Kx, their kicker outs are no good. as for calling the raise, only hand i can see pushing (since many will minraise or call with a 3) is AK/AQ and maybe backdoor draws but those are unlikely probably.

what's your read?
he isn't scared of that A, so he must have a TPTK, now it's a matter of knowing your jack kicker is good enough. don't find it too difficult to lay a hand like this down.

the kicker doesnt play (aces and threes with a king kicker) I really need stats here to see if a 3 is in his range. otherwise im probably calling, because youre only really behind AK (ak raises pf or flop) or KK ( raises pf)

I expect KK+ to 3bet preflop.

We are behind AK,33 for a total of 7 combinations. We split with AQ,AJ,AT = 22 combinations.

So we expect to split 3/4 of the time. 0.5*3/4*65=23 dollar or so. Losing 30 1/4 of the time = 8 dollars.

On average we win 15 dollars by calling here.

If we include AA,KK in his range and exclude AT. We lose to 11 combination and split with 14. In this case the EV is:
3/5*1/2*65-2/5*30=18-12 =6 dollars.

If 3x is in his range, than his range is ridicilously wide and we should even be more inclined to call.

Anyway, I think it's a call.
