MP just recently joined the table and is unknown as mentioned. I feel like I played this horrble. How would you play this hand? and given this play would you call or fold the turn all-in?

I hate these kind of spots, this is either a set, a fd (esp. AJ) or maybe qj.

Against an unknown id fold.

Preflop is fine i think , I dont mind just calling against unknowns instead of 3betting.

I'd prefer a raise preflop.

Now I'd fold.

3 bet PF. All those hands like AQ, AJ, AT and stuff are great but seriously these are exactly the kind of flops you hit the majority of the time, you want to either take it down PF or play the flop in a 3 bet pot....I was going to explain why but I'm running low on battery on my laptop.

Flop I would fold without a read. This guy could be playing a flush draw agressively or have some 2 pair or set. You don't want to stack off without more info here.

Calling preflop is pretty standarm imo.

The flop is nasty. I don't mind how you played it. you could just call and re-evaluate the turn.

3 bet preflop

the flop raise is pretty thin, def fold to the shove

fold it, gather information about your opponent and pick a better spot, the game is poker, not 'cards'.

Clould you explain why? there are 2 players behind who could be drawing and getting great odds if I don't raise.

Also you who advocate 3-beting PF: what would you do in this spot if he'd called and checked to us on the flop?

I agree that as played hero should be raising he flop and folding to the shove.

I agree that hero should have 3bet pre-flop and to answer your question if hero had 3bet and the original raiser had called and this flop came out and villian checked then hero should bet of course.
