Party Poker No-Limit Hold'em, $0.25 BB (6 handed) Party-Poker Converter Tool from FlopTurnRiver.com (Format: FlopTurnRiver)

SB ($24.75)
BB ($25)
Hero ($46.40)
MP ($25.22)
CO ($27.20)
Button ($38.56)

Preflop: Hero is UTG with J, J.
Hero raises to $1, MP raises to $2.5, 4 folds, Hero ?

Dont really know how to play JJ oop here. Is JJ strong enough to 4 bet or is it better only to call for setvalue. I would prefer 4 betting here bec its easier to play it postflop on a push i think i get an easy fold.

This is a lot easier to do with some stats, and some reads on the villian. There are some people that will only three bet with AA or KK, then there are others that will three bet a lot lighter. I might 4 bet here just to see where he is, and keep a note.
Actually, you're raising UTG and he's repopping you? He's probably pretty strong. I'll just call.

if you 4-bet you have to be willing to call a push. and you should NOT call a push with JJ without great reads. just call for set value.

I wouldn't 4bet without a read. And, I am not playing for set value either. Call and play poker most of the time. You generally will have the best hand on the flop, without improving. I'll float a lot of flop bets or just c/r right away.
