Did i play well ?
I check behind on the flop because i think i wil gain more value if i let him bluff the turn since i am only ahead AQ among his calling range if i bet the flop.

Bet the flop. This is BVB and a RR pot on a flop that's hard to hit; he's gonna expect you to be betting it if he's thinking at all. Plus, this is 25NL; there's no reason to get fancy, just value bet. As played I think you played the turn correctly (though maybe bet a little more). I doubt he checks to you twice with a hand that beats one pair. If he did just make a note of it and move on.
