I play it the same, maybe someone will advocate raising the flop or turn, but i really don't think it achieves anything here.

When you call the turn ur getting 3 to 1 on ur call and if you expect to get the rest of his money if u hit and fold if u miss, then ur getting calling 7$ to win 30ish. ur getting a little over 4 to 1, but you only have 9 outs to hit out of 46 remaining unknown cards. hes also likely to have an Ace or a King or both and if so has a 1/3 chance of having a diamond rather than 1/4. It just makes you hitting a diamond a little less likely. Anyway, without taking that into consideration, you only getting like 4.3:1 when u need over 5:1.

I think. Please someone correct me if im being retarded.

I play it the same as well. I don't think raising is going to get an ace to fold the turn, which is most of his range. A flop raise could get JJ-KK to fold but I feel like calling then betting a blank turn if he checks will get more folds while still allowing you to draw to the flush.

He's calling $7 to win $30 so he's getting 4.28 to one yeh.

You don't need over 5-1 though, the chances of making the flush are 18%, which is basicaly 4-1.

Right, right. my bad. he is getting the odds to call. its like 37:9 so yeah. I like the call because a raise is basically min and since hes going to get it in either way, might as well save the 8.8 if he misses.

Fold preflop. You are calling off more than 10% of your stack with an SC. You do not have the implied odds to call here.

Reload pf. Then fold pf unless you think youre getting 3 bet light.

Fold preflop. Raise flop and stack off.

Of course, first time I ever stacked someone for 150BB was when I made a horrible call of a 3bet in position with 87s and flopped a straightflush draw and got it all in on flop vs KK and hit on the river. I am up over 10BB/hand lifetime calling 3bets in position with SCs, but I have only done it about 10 times in the last 20,000 hands.
