This open-shove! Agh! It just looks so fishy and weird. If he has the ace, why not check-raise me? What is the deal here?

easiest KK fold ever?

youre in a reraised pot, an ace flops, and an opponent has bet. no way im calling here without a super strong read.

I actually like to thank villain when they do this. Now he just saved me some money as I would have bet the turn for him if he checked twice.

fishy weird aggression is more likely to be a strong hand than a weak one in my experience

Yeah, I folded, but it just made no sense to me.

What doesnt make sense? Villain doesnt think about extraction he thinks "ZOMG, I hit an ace, arrr in"

it makes sense. Its a fish with an ace, probably like ATo and he's trying to level you by betting oversized into the pot hoping u put him on a bluff and call with QQ/KK which is your entire range as far as he's concerned.

i think he floped a set of 6's or 3's, because of his preflop desperate call call ("please god let me flop a set"). he hoped you would have an A and you would call a push.

He has definitely got you beat,he is pushing because he has seen 2 diamonds and is worried about seeing a third.
Villain isnt thinking about extracting value here he just wants to win the pot
