Is there any way to continue on this turn?

EDIT: Was calling the flop raise a bad idea?

Pretty easy fold here. He either 3bet a set on the flop, or a semi draw that hit on the turn.

no...turn is an easy fold though. I call the small flop raise most of the time, ready to shut down if he leads any draw completing turn.

Stats/Read.

Likely played well as long as you folded the turn.

You guys dont like 3 betting this flop? Its fairly draw heavy and there are alot of bad turn cards that can kill our hand/action.

In general 3-betting, calling, or folding that flop is very player dependent. 3-betting is default for me against an unknown, but when you have no idea about your opponents' tendencies (most people don't play combo draws aggressively at uNL) I think that it's not too large a mistake in any direction. I mean, felting an overpair in this spot against a total unknown can't be that wrong, but it's probably not all that right, either.

If I 3 bet this flop, Im not doing it soley to protect against draws. Like I said, alot of turn cards kill our hand but also kill our action. If villain is on a weaker hand and a bad card comes off it will likely scare him too. Against an unknown I have no problem at all getting it in here.

3 combos of J6o represent air.
